GEORGE FRIDERIC HANDEL
George Frideric Handel (23 February 1685 – 14 April 1759) was an English Baroque composer of German birth who is famous for his operas, oratorios, & concerti grossi. Described by Beethoven as 'the greatest composer who ever lived', Handel's music is still greatly admired and listened to today. His most famous pieces of work include 'Messiah', 'Water Music' & 'Music for the Royal Fireworks'.
